Choir

For Choir Members

Participating in the Christmas Pageant Choir is a great way to celebrate the holiday season and to experience the fun of singing with a group. Choir members do not need to be affiliated with a church, and you don’t need to be able to read music: all you need is focus and enthusiasm! Most of the music is single-part, group singing, but there are some multi-part arrangements and some opportunities for solos and small-group signing. Choir members should be in grades 2-12.

Choir rehearsals take place for five Sundays prior to the pageant, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Congregational Church:

November 6
November 13
November 20
November 27
December 4

Choir members are also required to attend the all-cast/all-choir rehearsals in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Church:

Saturday, December 3 – 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, December 10 – 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.

If you’d like to be in the choir, please use our signup form or contact your church representative:

Our choir director is Erin Ash Sullivan, who can be reached at erinashsullivan@gmail.com. Please contact her directly if your child cannot make it to rehearsal or if you have any questions about choir participation. Each rehearsal will also be attended by a “choir parent” who is on hand to help supervise the children.

Please download and print the packet of choral music before the first rehearsal. Each choir participant is responsible for bringing his or her own music to each rehearsal.
