Cast

For Pageant Cast Members

If you’re interested in being part of the 2023 pageant cast, please use our signup form or contact Heidi Wharton peteandheidiw@yahoo.com

You do not need to be affiliated with a church to be part of the pageant cast. Please note that we review all cast signup requests in the order that they are received, and we notify all participants of their roles in an email one week prior to the first rehearsal. Please contact Heidi Wharton if you have any questions.

Rehearsals

Cast members are required to attend two all-cast/all-choir rehearsals in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Church:

Saturday, December 2, 2023 – 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, December 9, 2023 – 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Roles

All of the roles are non-speaking parts: the story is told by an adult narrator, and the children move around the sanctuary and stage. Children can choose which performance they’d like to be in, and they can even sing in the choir for one performance and act in the cast for another.

Here’s a list of the cast members for the 2023 pageant. Casting rotates annually among the three churches.

Please note that if you sign up your child to participate in the pageant, we will also need your help as a parent volunteer. In most cases, this will only mean 4-6 hours of your time. Over 50 adult volunteers comprise the pageant support crew, which is required to make the production happen. Please click here to access the parent volunteer form, and thank you in advance for your help!
